INTRODUCTION

On a sunny hill of "Zgornje Hlapje", not far away from our village "Jakobski Dol", in the heart of "Slovenske Gorice" (Slovenian Hills), surrounded by vineyards, stands our home. Vines and wine administer the meaning of our lives and deeds.

Each Spring we prune the vines in such a way that in Autumn only highest quality is harvested. Our knowledge is intertwined with our love to the nature.

Outstanding positions of our vineayards, profesionally built wine-cellar and delicate cellarman's craft yield top-quality wines. With modern equipment we assure stable environment and conditions in our cellar. We also control the fermenatition and maturation of wines.

We pay special attention and love to our "Fabijanova penina" (sparkling wine). It is produced by a traditional method. In the Autumn we carefully pick out the grapes and the wine ferments in the bottles. In the final stage of the process the bottles are put on the rack, where we shake them manually to control and assure the quality.

Light and transparent in color, with thousands of playful bubbles, of noble taste and smell - this is our sparkling, awarded with many golden medals. Perfect for any occasion!

We organize wine tastings with a visit to our cellar. Professional tours are available for larger groups (a subject to a prior appointment).

With a modern bottle filling equipment and with a carefull procedure we fill the wine into the bottles in such a way, that the noble characteristics of Fabijan's wines are preserved. Dark and tall, enhanced with our "F" mark - our bottles are well known to the wine lovers and easily distinguished.

From our wide selection you can choose among white pinot (pinot blanc), chardonnay, grey pinot (pinot gris), traminer, yellow muscatel, cuvee, rhine riesling, sauvignon and Fabijan's sparkling.

Yearly wine competitions are a special challenge. Top quality of our wines is confirmed by a number of golden awards we received. Based on this criterion we rank among the best wine producers not only in the Maribor region, but also in Slovenia.
